Blomkvist teams up with Lisbeth Salander, a feisty tattooed computer hacker celebrated as one of the most fascinating female characters of our time, to discover a disturbing and dark family history linked to the missing girl’s tragic demise. With veteran Swedish actor Michael Nyqvist as Blomkvist and a starmaking performance by Noomi Rapace as Salander, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has become the the highest grossing Swedish film in history.
