The 2009 Los Angeles County Fair is just days away and LAFREEBEE is here to hook you up with deals. Enjoy a variety of attractions, food and live entertainment. This year the fair will have live performances by Latin rock stars Jaguares, Old School favorites The Gap Band, War, Donna Summer, Legendary Al Green, Rock Legends Peter Frampton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pat Benatar, Country stars Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, LeAnn Rimes, R&B artist Ciara and California favorites The Beach Boys. -Labor Day Weekend Opening: Saturday-Monday Admission is just $1 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

-American Cross Blood Drive will be held at the Sheraton Fairplex hotel Monday, Sept. 21, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and generous donors receive a FREE ticket to return any weekday to the 2009 L.A. County Fair.

-Kids Ages 5 and younger are admitted free every day.

-College Thursdays: Specific college campuses will be featured each Thursday of the Fair, with students, faculty and staff receiving one free admission on their respective college day. Alumni will receive half-price admission on their respective day. Coupon or voucher required for all college Thursday discounts. Participants are encouraged to wear school colors on their day.

-A Day for Heroes: Friday, Sept. 11, active and retired military, reserves, police, fire and paramedics, with ID, along with one guest, can attend the Fair for $1 each, which will be donated to USA Cares.

-Hispanic Heritage Day: Guests receive a buy-one, get-one free admission Sunday, Sept. 20, Hispanic Heritage Day, with coupon available from participating Baker’s Burger locations beginning Sept. 1. Special programming on Hispanic Heritage Day includes Lucha Libre, tamale and salsa contests and MARIACHI USA® Fiesta. Presented by Baker’s Burger and Univision Television.

-Los Angeles County Day: Held Sunday, Sept. 13. Good for employees of Los Angeles County only. A Buy One-Get One free admission coupon for that day only will be available to all county employees. A special parade honoring Los Angeles County will take place at noon.

-Southern California Toyota Dealers Service Promotion: Receive service for $89.95 or more at participating Southern California Toyota dealers August-September and receive two free weekday admissions to the L.A. County Fair, while supplies last. Presented by Toyota.
