I have been going for the past 5 years and it is a awesome free event. The costumes are outrageous, and keep in mind if you don't have one or don't want to wear one that is o.k. too, it's a mix of those dressed up and those that are not. All the music and performances are free at various stages but, only go if you are "Gay Friendly" as it is in West Hollywood so go with an open mind. I'm straight and I enjoy it alot. It is a event to see and, one you won't soon forget. Word of warning wear comfortable shoes it is a long stretch of walking. The West Hollywood Carnaval is NOT to be missed!
