15th Annual Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Griffith Park Light Festival
December 4 – December 30, 2009
Light Display Hours: 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Dec 3: Kick-Off Preview Bike Night. No vehicle or foot traffic allowed. Bicycles only!
Dec 4th – 17th Vehicle Free Nights. No cars allowed. You can walk, jog, run, bike, stroll, crawl…anything accept drive.
Dec 9 – 30 (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs Only) Horse Enthusiasts. See the lights on horse back. Click here for details.
December 18th – 30th: Drive through the Griffith Park Festival of lights located on Crystal Springs Drive. Come see this magnificent display of lights that’s been a tradition for 13 years…all from the comforts of your warm car!
Directions:
Exit the Golden State Fwy. (5) at Los Feliz. Go west on Los Feliz and turn right onto Crystal Springs Drive and proceed to the entrance of the Light Festival. To view the Light Festival by foot on the walking path, park at the L.A. Zoo.
